Chris Brown Rant
OK, just like the next person I wish people would like Chris Brown go on with his life. I’m not agreeing with his actions but he’s human and everyone makes mistakes. He’s now back in the spotlight as being a “monster” and shouldn’t be able to attend the Grammys. o__O Really?!?! Umm, he’s an entertainer, performer, singer, etc. His actions have nothing to do with him receiving a Grammy! The man is super talented and should not be deprived of his awards! People are mad because he got to perform twice……Get over it! Clearly Rihanna is over it being that she invited Brown to her birthday party. What society need not do is judge this man for a mistake he made. I’ve been reading and arguing with several individuals about Chris Brown, because they feel as if he should not be allowed to show his face on television anymore. I believe folks are really mad because they WANT Rihanna to play the victim and she isn’t! This makes them even madder at Chris Brown and for what?! People are saying “he almost beat her to death with his fist!” “What a coward!” “He shouldn’t be allowed to be a role model!”. Shut Up!
Somehow the police report has been released in “detail” of how Chris Beat Rihanna while driving. He managed not to hit a single car, tree, dog, etc., while driving and beating her at the same time. -___- Sounds believable right?? Yeah, I thought now. lol. One of the comments that stood out to me while I was debating with a few others was, “Chris Brown got a slap on the wrist just like Michael Jackson.”. I beg to differ. Just because Michael didn’t fumble little boys doesn’t mean he didn’t do it. Him holding his baby over a balcony was child endangerment but everyone let that go. LOL. I say that to say this, no one is perfect and society should not keep punishing him for something he has already been punished for. Yes he has anger issues that he should get more help for, because it doesn’t seem like anger management worked 100%.

Can He Live!?!?!
No Justice, No Peace!
Being that I am a criminal justice major, I am VERY upset with how the state of Georgia is handling the Troy Davis case. Everything is clear cut but they fail to grant Davis clemency for a crime he DID NOT commit! Witnesses have came forth and said their testimonies were fake and coerced! I mean really, what more do you need! You have NO physical evidence that he was the shooter and all the eyewitnesses provided false statements. How can you convict someone under these circumstances? Is the state of Georgia really that racist or are they just that unfair? I’m pissed off because, I hate this unfair justice system. There is no way, you can take an INNOCENT man’s life and not fee guilty! What happen to due process? Rights to a fair trial? INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY? CRUEL AND UNUSUAL PUNISHMENT? Are these amendments being ignored? This man has yet to be proven guilty! His mom died after receiving a letter of his denial and execution date. She had just received a letter from her doctor stating that she was very healthy the day before, so who’s to blame for that? Looks like the Governor has committed a crime. Put him to death! His sister is battling stage four breast cancer, and is also fighting for her life.
The parole and probation board in the State of Georgia denied his clemency. I do not believe the justice system is fair and I believe the state of Georgia is in for a rude awakening if Troy Davis is executed tomorrow. Notice the punishment is only this severe because it was a cop. Troy Davis, an innocent man wrongfully convicted of killing a police officer is sentenced to death. Three officers shoot one Man, Sean Bell, over 50 times, are released back to there families. Now you tell me…..Does this sound like justice?
Governors and Criminal Justice officials should not make decisions based on PERSONAL beliefs and Feelings. Base them on the FACTS! And in this case, the Facts Prove that Troy Davis is NOT GUILTY and he should be released to his family!
“I’ll never fall in love again!” Why?
I’ve been in 3 real relationship in all of my 23 years of life and I have never said “I’ll never fall in love again”. I see my Past relationships as lessons. They me what to do, what not to do, and what to look for when I begin a new relationship. Yes I’ve been hurt but I’ve also been the heart-breaker. Do I mean to break hearts…No, but if it’s not meant to be let it go. I hate hearing people especially women, say they will never love again because of what an ex did. How will you when true approaches you if you decide not to let love in? Don’t be afraid of getting hurt. Take that risk, you’ll never know what’s on the other side of the door.
Don’t be afraid to fall in love. Love is a beautiful thing.
Holier Than Thou????? NOT!!!!!
I got baptized Sunday (07/10/2011), Praise Jesus, and I have to admit that I feel like a new person! Of course I haven’t made a complete change but it’s a start. But what gets to me is people that think they are HOLIER THAN THOU just because they know God and has been a christian for 5+ years. Most of the time it’s the folks that still go to club EVERY weekend, and the one’s that are still sexing before marriage. I’m not judging, but don’t come at me on the Holy tip when you need to double dipped in the pool again. I know people like this and it grinds my freaking gears to hear them try to preach the word to someone, when they’re not living the adult Christian life.
No one is the perfect christian! There is no such thing as the perfect Christian so stop trying to be one! We all live different lives as CHRISTIANS and we are going to all do different things. Telling someone not to backslide, but your HOLIER THAN THOU tail is living a backsliding life is not being a Christian. It’s called being a hypocrite! Live your life and let others live there’s. If you’re not truly following the Christian way, don’t come around me telling me what I’m doing is not of God because I just Might loose my religion on you. :)
